Living Room

Waterfall The highlight of the living room is the floor to ceiling rock waterfall and pond with gorgeous accent lighting.  The Rumford fireplace with bench seats on either side offers a cozy place to curl up and relax on a cool winter evening.  This room is very spacious and open to the kitchen, dining room and entertainment room.


The kitchen is spacious and open to the living room and dining room with a 4 x 4 sky light and plenty of windows to brighten the room with natural light.  The 15 foot counter and bar in conjunction with the breakfast area can seat up to 10 people.  The custom kitchen cabinets are all hand built from Alder wood and all of the appliances are stainless steel.  In addition to the ample cabinet space there is a broom closet and a large pantry.  The 6 foot French doors open to the covered flagstone patio.

Dining Room The dining room is round and intimate with a beautiful Tiffany chandelier and matching wall sconces.   Entertaining is easy with this open floor plan that allows views of the kitchen, living room and melodic waterfall feature.

Entertainment Room The family entertainment room has a 16 foot Colorado sandstone wet bar, log sided pool table with rustic pool table light fixture and rustic wall sconces, and plenty of space for a poker table and big screen TV.  An 8 foot tall saguaro cactus skeleton, old horse shoes embedded in the adobe floor and an antique Round Oak wood burning stove lend itself to an Old Western ambience.

The Master Suite is a very sizeable 62 feet long and 19 ½ feet wide with his and her bathrooms and large separate closets.  The room has a unique double walk in shower that measures 8 ½ feet by 5 ½ feet with a large window offering gorgeous views of the mountainside.  There is a separate jet bath tub, hand painted Mexican Talavera Pottery Sink, and a custom mesquite counter top.  The 4 x 4 sky light over the bed opens the room to the night sky where zero light pollution brings the Milky Way into reach as the Rumford fireplace warms the room with the glow of firelight. Outdoor Porch

This property boasts outdoor living at its finest with a view of exquisite Arizona sunsets over the mountainside and the opportunity to entertain on the 3,800 square feet of flagstone patio with 1100 square feet of covered porch made of
2 x 12 Douglas fir.  Birding is a highlight from the porch as 350 species of birds can be seen in the area.  There is a garden of native plants off the front patio and a cactus garden and mesquite tree off the family room.  In addition to this landscaping, the property is surrounded by beautiful native vegetation and cacti. Also, many different species of desert wildlife call this property home.

Other Outdoor Features

Wine Cellar

There is a Wine Cellar carved into the mountainside that measures 23 feet by 17 feet and maintains an average temperature of 55 degrees. 
A 100 year old round water tank has been converted into an art studio.  It has a north facing window, south facing sliding glass door, Saltillo tile floor, ceiling fan and the outside has been rocked to match the house.  It is 16 feet by 16 feet so could be used for many things in addition to an art studio like a yoga and meditation studio, an exercise room, or a workshop. 
Other out buildings include a power room, tool shed, ATV port and storage shed.  These buildings are connected together and measure 45 feet long and 16 feet wide. 

There is also a fenced in garden area with a small building that can be used as a chicken coop or dog house.
